Description
Tenuta Terraviva is born in the hills of Tortoreto, in the province of Teramo, bright and ideal scenario to create wines able to tell the Terroir, tenacious like the land to which they belong and inspired by the wind and the sea of the Adriatic.
The Estate is supported by a young team, full of enthusiasm and passion, aware of the importance of ensuring levels of excellence in the vineyards as well as in the winery and attentive to the protection of the environment.
The love for tradition and the desire to enhance the territory have led us to cultivate native vines: Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Trebbiano d’Abruzzo, Passerina and Pecorino.
Our hills are a corner of pristine paradise, an ideal habitat for flora and fauna, an oasis in a healthy environment, where nature and its rhythms are respected. For all these reasons we have embraced the philosophy of organic agriculture, which is controlled and certified by Suolo and Salute.
The harvest is done manually in small boxes to keep the bunches intact. The grapes in the cellar are processed without the addition of any substance. The fermentations are free, with indigenous yeasts.
We strive to achieve maximum results by guaranteeing environmental protection and eco-sustainability. A 20 Kw photovoltaic plant. guarantees the energy self-sufficiency of the Estate.
We vinify only and exclusively organic grapes produced in our vineyards to express at best the satisfaction of bottling the fruit of our work. The attention to detail and the attention placed in every single moment of the production process give our wines an extraordinary quality level.
